Dr. Jillian Ermis is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist who provides routine and medical eye care to patients in the Houston and southern surrounding areas.
Dr. Ermis attended Baylor University where she completed a degree in Medical Humanities and acquired minors in both Biology and Chemistry. While attending Baylor, Dr. Ermis was an active member of Delta Delta Delta sorority and the Baylor Club Tennis Team.
Dr. Ermis graduated Magna Cum Lade from the University of Houston College of Optometry and was awarded multiple Letters of Clinical Excellence during her clinical rotations. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society throughout optometry school and received the 2021 Cooper Vision Contact Lens Clinical Excellence award. Dr. Ermis completed rotations in the University’s Dry Eye Clinic and Ambulatory Surgical Center as well as externships in both community care and private practice settings. She also became a student fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 2022 and was selected to represent her school at various conferences around the nation.
In her spare time, Dr. Ermis enjoys playing tennis in several USTA league teams in the greater Houston area and teaching tennis lessons to youth tennis players.
Dr. Ermis is excited to be serving the visual needs of the Houston and surrounding communities!
