Dr. Arenales provides routine and medical eye care to patients at our East Freeway location. She is fluent in both Spanish and English,
Dr. Arenales received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Houston, before going on to earn her Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Houston College of Optometry. Upon graduation, Dr. Arenales completed clinical internships focusing on contact lenses, neuro-ophthalmology, pediatrics, low vision, and pre and post op surgical care at the University Eye Institute in Houston, Texas and Community Eye Clinic in Fort Worth, Texas.
During her time at the University of Houston, Dr. Arenales was a student Fellow of the American Optometry Association, and was an active member of many student organizations, including the Student Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Student Association. In addition to serving as the Community Service director of the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists, she was also the recipient of the Irene S. Wischer Scholarship for excellence in church and community service.
Dr. Arenales worked with the optometrists at Premier Vision Care in Houston, Texas before joining Berkeley Eye Center in 2017.
