Dr. Salena Pho is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist providing comprehensive eye care at Berkeley Eye Center’s Cleveland location. Since joining the practice in 2022, she has provided expert clinical care to an extensive number of patients, drawing on over two decades of medical experience to deliver personalized vision and health solutions to the community.
Dr. Pho earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry in 2001, where she graduated with high honors, including the Dean’s List and induction into the Sigma Beta Gamma honor society. Before relocating to Texas, she spent 21 years practicing at a prominent medical eye clinic in St. Louis, where she developed deep expertise in full-scope optometric care and surgical co-management. Her long-standing career is defined by a commitment to clinical excellence and a compassionate approach to patient education.
Dr. Pho practices the full scope of optometry, ranging from routine vision exams and contact lens fittings to specialized medical procedures such as ocular foreign body removals and ocular pathologies. She is dedicated to staying at the forefront of ocular health technology, utilizing advanced diagnostics to manage complex conditions such as glaucoma and chronic retinal disease.
Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Pho is a mother of two and enjoys staying active through traveling and hiking. She is also fluent in Vietnamese and takes great pride in providing bilingual care to her patients.
