Ben Roach, O.D.

Ben Roach, O.D., F.A.A.O. is excited to be able to provide eye care in his home town community of The Woodlands, Texas. Dr. Roach is a residency-trained optometrist providing comprehensive eye exams with an emphasis on medical eye care and surgical co-management.

After graduating from The Woodlands High School, Dr. Roach attended Texas A&M University where he graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences. He then moved to Memphis, Tennessee where he attended optometry school at Southern College of Optometry. He graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors in 2017 with his Doctorate of Optometry degree. He then completed an intensive residency in Ocular Disease and Refractive/Ocular Surgical co-management at Eye Center of Texas in Houston. He worked as an associate optometrist in this collaborative medical optometry/ophthalmology setting for three additional years before joining the team at Berkeley Eye Center. During this time he also completed an optometric fellowship through the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Roach married his high school sweetheart (who is a local pediatric optometrist) and together they have three young kids.
