“Dr. Shrum is an amazing ophthalmologist! He is knowledgeable, caring, and truly takes the time to make sure his patients feel comfortable and well cared for. I’m so grateful to have him as my eye doctor! The entire office staff is wonderful, friendly, and welcoming. I also want to give a special shout-out to Sean in the Optical Shop. He was incredibly helpful, patient, and made the whole optical experience easy and enjoyable, all while helping me get new glasses that I never thought I’d wear. And I LOVE them. I highly recommend Dr. Shrum and his entire team. It’s so nice to find a practice where you feel genuinely cared for from the moment you walk in the door!”

“Always a great experience at Berkley Eye Center Atascocita with Dr. Shrum and his staff. On my latest visit, Technician Dazie took care of my initial testing and actually performed annual testing that Dr. Shrum usually performs. She was professional, knowledgeable, efficient and her engaging personality was both informative and entertaining. Dr. Shrum always takes the time to review my current vision status and eye health with me, check for any complaints / concerns, then provided recommendations for future eye health and treatments. Great job to all, keep up the great work!!!”

“Very friendly, inviting atmosphere. Joseph Oshin MD is vey talented, he made me fill relaxed about my cataract surgery, and did an excellent job!! I have no complaints with him or any of the personnel. Would recommend him for all of your eye needs, always willing to listen and help you with anything you don’t understand.”

“Very lovely experience coming to Berkeley. I love the atmosphere and the staff are amazing and very friendly. I had my lasik surgery and love it and I just remained with them afterwards. The doctors are all pleasant with lovely personalities and friendly. I would most definitely recommend everyone to come to Berkeley because you would love it! And they are open on Saturday’s. My husband and I drive all the way down from Louisiana.”

“It was a great experience today at Berkeley. Each of the associates were very friendly and experienced. They explained each step and my options very clearly. I didn’t feel pressure to buy glasses or spend more money. They reviewed my insurance throughly and gave me multiple options for my budget. My optometrist was very kind and helpful with my questions. “Check in was quick with a five minute wait to see doctor. The doctors care for their patients and make sure all your questions are answered to your satisfaction. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and kind making it an enjoyable visit. I’d like to give a shout out to Sean Leal in the optical department. About Our Atascocita Office
Our eight ophthalmologists and optometrists provide eye exams, LASIK and EVO ICL consultations, cataract care, retina care, and a full optical shop for patients in Atascocita, Humble, and the Lake Houston area. We’re open six days a week, including Thursday evenings and Saturdays, and we’re accepting new patients.
