"Dear readers Are you looking for a Lasik eye surgery? If I might, let me tell you a couple of things it may help you to choose a correct decision. As an engineer, in almost every aspect in our ordinary life, we are looking for solutions considering a few aspects: quality and advantage experience, cost and time. So, I went and got two quotations for a Lasik surgery and the followings were the aspects made my select Berkeley Eye Center in Katy Freeway location. 1.- Quality, Knowledge/high experience; initially, I was scared because your eye it is, unless for me, one of the most important organ you have, so I want to be in the hands of the more experienced doctor in the world. What did make me to choose BEC? Dr. Yankelove is a mathematics (I love that because it means he enjoys numbers and calculations as I do) and has over 20 years of experience in eye surgery, but he is not the only one that enjoys and has high engagement with his/her job. His team also, looks engaged in what they do, knows and follow all technical and commercial procedures they put in front of you before surgery. They answer all your questions and made you feel that nothing is hide and rule and procedure you must follow before and after the surgery are clear. 2.- Time; it is the most convenience place since they value your time. Day 1: Be prepared to spend 2 hrs. for the cornea measurements and go over procedures and cost at the same day which it is typically days in advance of your surgery to identify if you are or not qualify for Lasik Surgery. Day 2: It is your surgery date. Be prepared to spend 30-45mins. Yes!! It is simple. You just entry and pass straight to pay the surgery with Judy, then Laura will be with you explaining very gently what to expect and not expect of the surgery, put 4 drops in each eye and after 15 mins, you are in front if the Lasik machine and the doctor. The surgery takes 10 mins. And then you come back to the recovery room for other 10 mins, doctor check your eyes for the last time and you are ready to leave straight home and take rest. I love simplicity. 3.- Cost: I have been with BEC for more than 8 years in the office located in memorial. You know what they did? They paid me for the loyalty. If you have purchased all eyes products from them in the last 3 years you might qualify for $1000 discount. Also, they are a 5% discount if you pay in cash. So, I took all of them. Awesome!! Just for your information, the other provider I got the quotation, made me feel more nervous that I was, and all surgeries upon scheduled take place in other building with a bunch of people in the waiting room. That, for sure would make me feel with anxiety and wishing running away. I bet you they will respond to me as “Client, so sorry to hear that, we will miss you” because let us be honest, they won’t chance what they are, because these are their policies. Hope you have exceptional experience as I did in April 2018 with decided to invest in my 20/15 vision."
