Paul M. Palumbo, O.D. is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.
He graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Following graduation, Dr. Palumbo attended the University of Houston College of Optometry where he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree.
During Optometry school, Dr. Palumbo earned a Clinical Letter of Excellence and completed a Specialty Contact Lens Training Course in fitting multifocal and toric lenses. Dr. Palumbo also participated in the City of Houston Department of Health’s “See to Succeed” program to provide free eye exams and eyewear to children in Houston area schools.
Dr. Palumbo completed three externships at practices in Houston, including one at the University of Houston College of Optometry and one at Berkeley Eye Center.
Following graduation, Dr. Palumbo joined Berkeley Eye Center working in various roles until joining Berkeley Eye Center as a full time Optometrist.
Dr. Palumbo cares for patients at Berkeley Eye Center’s Kingwood location to provide routine eye care as well as pre- and post-operative care for refractive and cataract surgery patients.
Dr. Palumbo is a member of the Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
