Russell O. Bond, O.D., completed undergraduate studies in both Texas and Kansas before graduating from the University of Houston College of Optometry.
Upon graduation, he entered the U.S. Navy and was stationed at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, the Naval Hospital Camp Kuwae in Okinawa, Japan, Oakland Naval Regional Medical Center, Oakland, California, and the Naval Hospital in Millington, Tennessee. He served as an optometric instructor in the ophthalmology residency program at NRMC Oakland and as Chief of the Optometry Service in Okinawa and Tennessee.
Dr. Bond specializes in contact lenses, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of cataracts, dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, eye diseases and general optometry. He has practiced in Tomball since 1988 and as an associate of Berkeley Eye Center since 1984.
He is a member of the American Optometric Association, including its Section on Contact Lenses, Texas Optometric Association and Harris County Optometric Society, among others.
