Robert L. Reid, O.D., is Berkeley Eye Center’s primary Optometrist at its Champions location. He specializes in performing comprehensive, dilated eye examinations for the diagnostic treatment of ocular disease. In addition to fitting contact lenses, determining spectacle prescription, and diagnosing and treating glaucoma, Dr. Reid provides preoperative and postoperative care for cataract and refractive surgery.
After completing his Bachelor of Arts at University of North Texas in Denton, Dr. Reid earned his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Houston College of Optometry. He has been in practice in the Champions area for more than 30 years.
Dr. Reid worked with Berkeley Eye Center’s Ralph G. Berkeley, M.D., for two years after completing optometry school. He was in private practice before returning to Berkeley Eye Center where he has seen Berkeley Eye Center’s patients for more than 23 years.
Dr. Reid is certified by the Texas Optometry Board and licensed by the International Association of Boards of Examiners in Optometry Treatment & Management of Ocular Disease.
