"I made an appointment her to get a chalazion removed, after searching High and low for a great surgery center that could perform them quickly and affordably. I called a few other places around Houston, but they were all booked out for over a month (probably considering things just opened back up after the pandemic). But Berkeley Eye Center had availability within the month, so I got my appointment in the books. The center itself is huge! There's actually a few different parts to the center, a surgery center and also the Eye/Vision Center. I was super nervous about getting this done, but the staff were all very kind and made me feel very comfortable with everything. Once I got into the surgery room, the nurse was very sweet and made sure I was comfortable before everything happened. Like I said, even though chalazion removals are very quick I was extremely nervous since I had never had it done before. Once the doctor came in, he was really kind and made me laugh to help get rid of my nerves. Him and the nurse both explained exactly how the procedure would go and what I would need to do for the healing, as well as went over other options in case I didn't want the surgery. The removal itself literally took seconds, and the doctor explained what he was doing the whole time. He also asked how pain was, in case the anesthesia wasn't working. I felt very comfortable! My eye healed up really well, and I had no complications. I would definitely recommend this place for any eye surgery!"
