Paul M. Palumbo, O.D. is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Dr. Palumbo provides medical and routine eye care to patients at our Kingwood location. His clinical interests include pre- and post-operative LASIK and cataract surgery management, specialty contact lens fittings, and performing dilated eye exams for the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases.
Dr. Palumbo graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then attended the University of Houston where he completed a Doctor of Optometry degree. He was honored with a Clinical Letter of Excellence in clinic at the U of H College of Optometry and served as President of the Pre-Optometry Professional Society. Dr. Palumbo also participated in the City of Houston Department of Health’s “See to Succeed” program to provide free eye exams and eyewear to children in Houston area schools.
Dr. Palumbo is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association and the Harris Country Optometric Association. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, bowling, and trying new restaurants with his wife and son.
