LASIK and Eye Surgery Price and Financing

With the variety of payment and financing options now available for LASIK, Laser Vision Correction is more affordable than ever. The staff at Berkeley Eye Center will work with you to find the best payment option for your particular situation.

We offer one price for state-of-the-art LASIK Laser Vision Correction.

Unlike some practices, Berkeley Eye Center does not determine the price of your Laser Vision Correction procedure based on the severity of your prescription.

Insurance and Vision Plans
Most medical/vision plans consider Laser Vision Correction an elective procedure. However, some vision plans may offer a small discount on LASIK. Call a refractive counselor to find out whether your vision plan offers you a discount.

Financing Your Procedure

Berkeley Eye Center provides internal financing for qualified applicants, 12 months interest free. The Internal Financing Plan requires us to review a credit report on your behalf. (A $25 service charge will apply for this report). Based on this report, a minimum of half of the surgery cost will be required as down payment. The balance must be paid in 12 equal monthly payments. A valid credit card number will be required to have on file. This card number will only be used in the event payment is 10 days or more past due. Approval of financing application is required prior to surgery. Submit applications in office or via fax to 713-620-7685. Please allow 2-3 working days to process the application.

We’re pleased to offer our patients the CareCredit^® card, North America's leading patient payment program. CareCredit is the credit card exclusive for healthcare services. You’ll get low monthly payment plans for healthcare procedures not commonly covered by insurance, including LASIK.

Payment Options

Cash/Money Order/Cashier’s Check- Berkeley Eye Center offers a 5% discount to patients who pay cash for their LASIK surgery.

Credit Card- We accept most major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

Flex Spending Accounts- One of the best ways to pay for a portion of your vision correction procedure is by setting the money aside in your Flex Spending Account beforehand, so that the money you spend on LASIK is tax-free. Schedule a free consultation before the open enrollment period for your FSA to determine whether it would be beneficial for you to set aside the money into your Flex account to pay for LASIK.
