Ermis, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston after completing two Bachelor’s degrees from Baylor University and University of Houston. During his optometric studies, the University of Houston honored Dr. Ermis with the Outstanding Clinical Skills Award. Dr. Ermis joined Berkeley Eye Center’s El Campo office in 1993 after working two years in other practices. He conducts comprehensive eye exams and co-manages cataract, glaucoma, retinal surgery and refractive surgery patients. Dr. Ermis both lives and works in El Campo. Dr. Ermis has his Texas Therapeutic Optometry License and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist Certification, and is certified by the International Association of Boards of Examiners in Optometry Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease.
