Doctors of Berkeley Eye CenterOptometristDavid A. Garza, O.D.David A. Garza, O.D., sees patients at Berkeley Eye Center’s Weslayan office in Houston. A graduate of the University of Houston College of Optometry, Dr. Garza completed his Doctor of Optometry Degree after his Bachelor of Science in Optometry. He was honored with Five Letters of Excellence in clinic at the U of H College of Optometry and served as Vice President of the Pre-Optometry Professional Society. Dr. Garza completed an externship at a Houston practice, where his experience emphasized refractive surgery, and at St. Joseph’s hospital, where he focused on treatment and diagnosis of retinal pathology. For several years, Dr. Garza volunteered his knowledge and experience to help Prevent Blindness of America and The Lighthouse for the Blind by performing glaucoma vision screenings and helping visually impaired children learn and perform tasks they were unable to do on their own.
