Ziskrout, O.D., is a Texas Board Certified Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist with 25 years experience in the eye care/optical industry. He proudly served six years in a combat engineering unit for the 146th U.S. Air National Guard. He holds a degree in Ophthalmic Optics from Cañada College and both Bachelor and Doctorate degrees from Pacific University in Vision Science and Optometry, respectively. He was the chief resident during his family practice residency at the University of Houston College of Optometry. Post residency, he joined the university as a part-time adjunct clinical faculty and has been a supervising clinical examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. Dr. Ziskrout’s relationship began with Berkeley Eye Center in 1997. He practices at the Kingwood office focusing on complex contact lens fittings, treating eye infections and injuries. In addition, he manages LASIK/PRK, glaucoma and cataract surgical patients. His professional associations have been with the American Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry, Texas Optometric Association, Oregon Optometric Physician’s Association, Harris County Optometric Society and the Humble Rotary International.
